Radnor TRI TAP with GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) is a 2', 12 gauge extension cord that can be used by directly plugging into a receptacle or as an addition to an existing extension cord. The three outlets on the end allow use of mulitple items on one cord (check manufacturer ratings of appliances or tools to make sure cord capacity is not exceeded). The GFCI acts as a safety device that constantly checks current flow for loss of current. If a loss is detected a curcuit breaker trips faster than the blink of an eye. A painful shock may still occur, but the GFCI will eliminate a lethal dose of electricity.
