Tillman 48 is a great value, medium-weight MIG welding gloves. The top grain goatskin palm is best for feel while the split cowhide back resists heat. The 48 is fleece lined for added heat protection with out added bulk. The straight thumb is best for gun grip while the thumb strap reinforcement is for extra strength. Elastic back for snug fit and a 3-1/3" cuff for added protection from sparks and slag. All of this is held together with Kevlar stitching for heat resistant seams.
